Lecture and seminar 5

In the beginning of today's lecture we continued with the presentation from last week and for the second half of the lecture, Thor Ingvarsson came in as a guest speaker and spoke to us all about managers, leaders and followers. During this lecture we learnt about theories x and theories y and how they both can self-fulfilling and we also received a deeper insight into various trait theories. This has probably got to be one of the best guest speakers we have had on this module, his lecture was absolutely hilarious yet informative at the same time. I really enjoyed the visual representations through the use of youtube videos, it was good.
 In the Seminar, we explored our coursework case study in greater depth and as a class discussed the possible challenges that 'Bizzie body' was facing and how the company could overcome them. During this time, I took the initiative to plan a group meeting for next Wednesday in order to prepare for the coursework and how we will perform it.
