Lecture and Seminar 2
Today's lecture was about 'Business models and strategies in a digital world', I found this lecture quite interesting as I learned new things such as business organisation features, Mintzbergs 5 types of organisational structure, different levels (managerial and executive) and competitive forces.
In the seminar we did a task on 'Susie's Music Shop' in which we had to prepare a cash flow budget for a six month time period on excel, this task was quite challenging as I am not an avid user of excel, however I learnt some new things such as how to use appropriate functions etc. We also started a case study and we have to complete it for homework. During this seminar, we also got into groups for our coursework, my team members are Lisa, Nana, Tea and phan, they all seem really nice.
